There is a listing for her death in the Taylor County Vital Statistics in 1861. The tombstone agrees with the month and year, but the day of the month is different with the stone reading 23 while the record has 12. The death record also has the name of her parents as William and Sarah Hazard. the cause of death was given as consumption.
