Biography

Clayton was born in 1899. He was the son of Charles Heiny and Margaret Timmons. He passed away in 1977.

DEATH CLAIMS CLAYTON HEINY MONTlCELLO-Dayton 0. Heiny, 78. Rt. l. Idaville. died at 8-15 p.m. Wednesday at the White County Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health six months. Born in Idaville. Aug. 21.1899. He was the son of Charles and Maggie Timmons Heiny. He was married on Feb. 26.1919 to Hattie Tam who survives. He had lived his entire life in the Idaville area. A member of the Pious Chapel Church, Monticello. he was a semi-invalid. He had taught piano for 57 years a grocery merchant, and retired farmer. Surviving are one son. Eugene. Monticello: eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren: and one brother. Merle. Monticello. One daughter and one brother preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at the Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Robert Cree officiating. Burial will be in the Idaville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
