MONTICELLO - Mrs. Margaret E. "Maggie" Heiny, 78, of route 1, Idaville, died at 5:30 Monday evening at her home. In ill health two years, she had been critically ill since Christmas. Born one mile south of her present home on March 26, 1877, she was the daughter of Jacob D. and Susan Held Timmons. A life resident of the Idaville community, she was a member of the Church of God. Her marriage on June 2, 1897, was to Charles Heiny, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Patton; two sons, Clayton and Merle, all of Idaville, route 1; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mellie Hughes, Monticello. She was preceded in death by a son, Dudley; another son, who died in infancy, and a grandson, Jack Patton.
Friends may call at the Miller funeral home here after four o'clock this evening and final rites will be at the funeral home at 1:30 Wednesday. The Reverend Virden Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Idaville cemetery.
