Research Notes
A birth or baptism record to David has not be located. Also an entry for the 1841 and 1851 census haven't been located.
Daughter Margaret's birth year is unclear. In the 1871 census, she was aged 12, although the birth record in 1861 suggests she was a twin of Robert. The relevant birth certificates are needed to clarify this inconsistency.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with David by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with David:
I don't have a birth record of David's mother Catherine. In a transcript of Ireland Marriages 1845-1958 I find a Catherine White Note different spelling) as being married to one of the following people: Thomas Young, Walter Perrin, James Sufferin or James Henderson. It is from registration district Carlow, vol. 3,page 261. Does this help or just muddy the waters? Sheila Anderson
