Biography

Cordelia was born in 1859. She was the daughter of Isaac Hendricks and Jane Woolard.

In the 1860 Census, the last name is incorrect. She is listed as Cordelia Fox. And The family name Hendricks is also misspelled- Hindrix. ^[1]

1880 U.S. Census the family is living in Marion, Polk County, Missouri. Her mother, Eliza, is remarried and using the last name Potts. ^[2]

Cardie Hendricks married Richard “Douglas” Gordon on September 28, 1880, in Polk county, Missouri.

Cardie is buried next to her husband in Greenwood cemetery in Bolivar, Polk County, Missouri. ^[3]
