John Austin II, father of John Austin III, was born October 25, 1695, in Anne Arundel, Maryland. He married Mary Henry in 1712 in Virginia. Mary was born in 1698 in Maryland to unknown parents. Together John and Mary had only one known child: John II. John died at the age of 81 in 1776 in Maryland. Mary died in 1776 in Frederick County, Maryland at the age of 78.^[1]
