Biography

Levi Heskett was born 18 Mar 1821 to Matilda Heskett. In 1843, Levi married Elizabeth Poulton. They had 9 known children.

In 1880 census Levi and Elizabeth are listed in separate households and both indicate they are widowed.

Levi died in 1886.

Research Notes

All records of Levi are after 1850. Finding a parent was difficult until I found the probate record of Timothy Hiskett. ^[1] The will states ".... divided between my children and my grand son Levi Hiskett son of my daughter Matilda." I cannot find a marriage record for Matilda to George Littick but their first child was born in 1825 and there is no indication in the 1830 or 1840 of any child of Levi's age. There is a child in Timothy Hiskett's 1830 and 1840 census records that would correspond to Levi's age.
