Hannah (Hill) Jarvis migrated from England to Maryland, Colonial America.
Hannah was born about 1725, allegedly in England. Hannah Hill married John Jarvis. She passed away about 1800 in Baltimore County, Maryland. [1]
A Genealogy.com post regarding Reason Jarvis, by Jack, dated 28 June 1998, says that --- three Jarvis brothers, Solomon, John, and Daniel, came to America from the Jersey District of England. Reason is believed to be a son or grandson of Daniel. --- I have interpreted the 'Jersey District' to refer to the Bailiwick of Jersey Island, which is the largest of the Channel Islands. It is a self-governing British Crown Dependency. Hannah Hill and John Jarvis are said to be from Hillshire, England, but no such place has been found. Could the location be Wiltshire, which would be in somewhat relative proximity to Jersey island. There is a Jarvis family, found in New York and Connecticut, that is descended from Stephen Jarvis who came from Wiltshire. This line produced the Loyalists Samuel (1720-1780) and William Jarvis (1756-1817).

Two children named John, and the first one died in England? Doesn't seem reasonable to me.d I need to see a source for putting Philip in this family.
