There are two families headed by Edmund and Sarah Hinkley. This record is from a record in Brunswick, Cumberland, Mass/Maine that includes children: Edmund b. 9-9-1745, Sarah b. 8-22-1747, Jonathan b. 1-19-1749, Isaac b. 12-19-1751, Thankful b. 8-23-1755, Priscilla b. 8-10-1757, Samuel 8-12-1759, Lemuel b. 12-17-1762, and twins Edmund & Aaron b. 3-17-1764.
There is also a Edmund and Sarah Hinkley family that has individual birth records in Barnstable Mass with children: Edmund b. 11-10-1745, Abner b. 3-25-1747, Mary b. 7-11-1749, Enoch b. 3-27-1751, Anna b. 12-6-1757, and Benjamin 12-24-1761. There is another child listed under them named Herman; I haven't found any clear evidence for Herman's parents but he is not on the family register for the Brunswick family.
Edmund (Hinckley-328) and Sarah (Howland-273) are listed as being in Barnstable and Howland-273 states that her husband Edmund's father is Benjamin and not Samuel.
