Biography

William was born in 1837. He was the son of William Hind and Agnes Aitcheson.

In the 1841 census William (age 3) was in Bonny Bridge, Falkirk, Stirlingshire.[1]

In the 1851 census William (age 14) was the son of William Hind on Cart Road, Vicinity of Camelon, Falkirk, Stirlingshire. He was an Iron Stone Miner.[2]

In the 1861 census William (age 23) was the son of William Hind in Lochfauld Cottages, Cadder, Lanarkshire. He was an Iron Miner.[3]

William married Isabella Wilson on 27 June 1862 in Cadder, Lanark, Scotland.[4]

In the 1871 census William (age 33), Coal miner, was the married head of household in Church Place, 15, St George Glasgow, Milton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[5]

In the 1901 census William (age 63), Labourer In Railway Wagor Shop, was the father-in-law of James Stevenson at 175 Lower Craighall Rd, Glasgow Maryhill, Lanarkshire.[6]

Possible death record William's death (age 65) was registered in 1903 in the Kilmarnock (Ayr) district.[7]

Hind-509 and Hynd-346 appear to represent the same person because: I think the LNAB should be spelled Hind, A couple of records with hynd but spelling seems interchangeable.
