Biography

John Hog was born on 24 March 1748 at Winton in the parish of Pencaitland in the county of East Lothian in Scotland. He was baptised 27 March 1748 with Witnesses George Black & James Hog. [1]

He is assumed to have died before 02 July 1750 as a second son named John Hogg born on this date.
