The following obituary was posted on Find A Grave: Deceased Name: GENEVA I. HOLDER SCHRAMMGENEVA I. HOLDER SCHRAMM, 90, of Parkersburg, died Oct. 22, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Dorothy, W.Va., on Feb. 10, 1920, a daughter of the late James Albert Holder and Mabel Clara Dunaway Holder. Mrs. Schramm was a 1937 graduate of Huntington High School and was a retired bookkeeper and secretary. She served in the U.S. Navy as a storekeeper second class, 1943-1946. Surviving are one daughter, Joan C. Schramm of Mt. Nebo, W.Va.; one son, Harrison M. Schramm of Parkersburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harrison M. Schramm; four sisters, Inez Lambert, Leona Poling, Pauline Mossman and Naomi Haynes. There will be a private internment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Huntington, W.Va., at a later date. Memorials may be made to West Virginia Sight Conservation Foundation, Rt. 1, Box 122A, Fayetteville, WV 25840, or to Marshall University Foundation, 519 John Marshall Drive, Huntington, WV 25703. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, is entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.leavittfuneralhome.com.
