Biography
Elizabeth was the daughter of John and Hannah (Smith) Holmes, born June 1863 in Charlotte, Vermont.[1] John was a farmer at Charlotte, specializing in growing fruit trees.
Elizabeth married late in life, at the age of 56, to Charles Edward Stowe, 20 April 1920 in Los Angeles, California.[2]
Elizabeth died 20 April 1932 in Santa Barbara on her twelth wedding anniversary. [3]
