Biography
Clara Rebecca Hooton was about 1859 in Welton, Lincolnshire, England. At her birth her father, William Hooton, was 43, and her mother, Mary Ann (Greenfield) Horton, was 38. In 1801 when Clara was age 2 she lived with her mother Mary Ann at St.. Swithin Parish, in Lincolnshire.. By 1881,when she was reported age 21, Clara was residing as a domestic servant in the household of the Spencer Banks Booth In Bradford Parish, Yorkshire. Clara married George Sage at Leeds, Sheepscar, St. Clement, Yorkshire on April 20, 1884. In 1911 Clara, 50, and George, 57, resided at on St. Meanwood Road, in Leeds, Yorkshire. There is no record of any children. Clara died the Apr-May-June quarter of 1919 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England at age of 58.
