Sarah Hord was born in 1743 in Stafford, Colony of Virginia, daughter of Peter Hord (~1716–1787) and Antoinette Knowles (~1720–~1787).

Sarah married Rhoden Hord (born on May 4, 1740 in Stafford County, Virginia; son of Thomas Hord and Jane (Miller) Hord). Their children were:

Sarah died after 1811, aged 67.[1][2]
