Christian's parents were Hans Jerg Hornbacher and Anna Barbara Hauser. He was born a month following their marriage and baptized in Oberwaldach.[1] He married Christina Johanna Haug on 23 Oct 1747 in Cresbach.[2] Their first son was born a few months later. They lived in Cresbach where he was a day laborer and baurenknecht.[3]

Marriage 23 Oct 1747 in Cresbach. Farmerhand (=Bauernknecht) Christian Hornbacher (son of daylabourer Johann Georg Hornbacher from Cresbach) with Christina (daughter of the deceased farmer Johann Georg Haug from Wittendorf??).[11]
Death 18 May 1772 in Cresbach. Daylabourer Christian Hornbacher dies at the age of 56 years minus 4 weeks and 2 days.[12][13]
