Biography
Hannah Hough is a daughter of John and Hannah (Worthington) Hough of de Hough, Wilmslow, Cheshire, England. She received 36 pounds from John Hough her father's estate.
She was the second wife of Thomas Ashton.
With Thomas, Hannah was the mother of at least eight, and probably nine, children. Nearly all of the children's births were recorded in the Falls Monthly Meeting records.
Land
Hannah Ashton relict of Thomas Ashton of Makefield in Bucks County who In the Year 1705 purchased 100 Acres in Makefield of the Comm'rs and paid for the same and there being 133 Acres ad Joyning, the said Hannah requests the Grant of it on such Terms as the Prop'T shall please.
Research Notes
It appears that Hannah (Hough) Ashton bought 133 acres of land following the death of her husband. It would be of great interest to see how that land was disposed after Hannah's death (if she held on to it).
