Biography

Jacob Houser was born in 1771 in Hagerstown, Province of Maryland, son of Abraham Houser (1752–1829) and Nancy Ann Rhorer (1756–1813).

Jacob (23) married Mary Phillips (24) (born in 1770 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America; daughter of Johann Conrad Phillips and Barbara (Weaver) Phillips) in 1795 in Mt. Eden, Spencer County. Their children were:

Jacob died on November 21, 1847 in Mt. Eden, Spencer County, Kentucky, United States, aged 75. He was buried in Benjamin Clarke Cemetery, Spencer County, Kentucky.[1]
