Dear profile manager:

I think we have the wrong Frances Howard married to this Seymour. It appears this profile should be disconnected? Was this person coincidentally married to a different man also called Edward Seymour? There are many so it is not impossible there are multiple marriages between Edward Seymours and Frances Howards, causing a confusion that WikiTree inherited from a GED upload or ongoing confusion in present tense.

Her presently-connected "husband" (the Edward Earl of Hertford etc) was, in fact, married to a much younger woman (born fully a generation later than these two) of the same name as this one. But the real Countess of Hertford lived until 1639, and I believe is known to be the daughter of Thomas Howard, 1st Viscount Howard of Bindon by his wife Mabel Burton.

Here is some information:

Note that the Wikipedia articles for these people have this same confusion. So we need to be careful not to go around in circles thinking any particular Wikipedia article is correct, and instead, rely on (and cite) primary sources. Suggest we also carefully review any cited sources on this profile to ensure we don't get stuck in a citation loop relying on flawed sources.

Note: I am not an expert in these family groups but notice the confusion here (and elsewhere on the internet).
