Catherine was born in 1806. She passed away in 1892.
After the death of her husband, Catherine and two of her unmarried daughters, Eliza and Annie, were living in Charlottetown in 1881 where they had a hotel. Annie married later in 1881, and Catherine and Eliza went to live with Alexander and Ann in Lot 16.

In the 1891 census Catherine was living with the family of her son Alexander on their farm in Lot 16. She declared she was born in PEI, her father in Scotland and her mother in Germany.
