John was the son of John How. He was born in Topsfield, Mass, 3 March, 1669.[1] He married 27 Sept. 1697, Sarah Caves.[2] He is "John How of Middleton," which was formed in 1726 from parts of Topsfield, Andover, Boxford, and Salem. He died some time after 1732, since he signed a deed in 1732 transferring land to his son Mark.
