Ralph Brint Howell Sr. was born on 23 Feb 1775 in Wayne County, North Carolina, son of Henry Howell (~1693 - ) and Rachael (Boyette) Howell (~1745 - 1797).

His siblings were:

  2. Keziah Howell (~1765 - >1824)

Ralph married Jane Crawford (<1791 - ). Their children were:

  1. Robert Boyte Crawford Howell (1801 - 1868)
  2. Sarah Ann (Howell) Jernigan (1804 - 1884).
