1881 Whilst the family are in Craigielea, Kilmalcom, William died at the age of 75 years, his occupation was recorded as a retired Bank Messenger, married to Helen Merrie, cause of death was due to Acute Meningitis which he suffered with for 1 day and Apoplexy 8 hours.
