Rozilla Huffaker, daughter of Simpson David Huffaker of Kentucky, and Susan Green Robinson. Rozilla was born in Bureau County, Illinois, when it was still part of Putnam County. Bureau County was established 6 November 1849, after Rozilla was born. From 1825-1837, Bureau was part of Putnam County.[1]
Rozilla married John Pulsipher on "the 4th of November, 1853 we were married at my father's house--this being the first wedding in the family. A large crowd of relatives and friends were there to witness the ceremony and partake of the big feast that followed. Our marriage covenant was sealed according to the Celestial order of Heaven by President Heber C, Kimball, March 20, 1854 when I received my endowments at the Endowment house built on the Temple block."
