Biography
Anna was born about 1807. She was the daughter of Francis Huger and Harriott Pinckney.[1]
At the time of the 1850 US Census Anna, age 41, is married and shown with family living in St Michael and St Phillip Parish, Charleston, South Carolina.[2]
In 1860, the family is shown as residing in Ward 3, Charleston. Husband Edward is an Custom House Officer earning $4000, while Anna is shown having a personal estate of $10,000.[3]
In 1880, Anna (indexed as N.I. Harleston) is widowed and living with three of her daughters in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.[4]
In 1883, Annie, widow of Edward, is living at 4 Water St in Charleston.[5]
She passed away May 18, 1895 and was buried at Strawberry Chapel Cemetery, Berkeley County, South Carolina.[6]
