Biography
Sylvia was born in 1892, the daughter of David Edward Hughes and Mary Jane Bond.
She married Gerald Balmain Edwards in 1913. They had at least four children (sadly their son Albert was killed in the 2nd World War).
Slyvia and Gerald were later divorced in 1925.
She married, secondly, William John McRobbie in 1926.
They had two daughters.
Her husband died in 1938.
Sylvia died in 1985.
