Ebenezer Hull was born about 1697^[1] in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Colony of Connecticut.^{[2] [3]} He was the son of Cornelius Hull, Jr. and Sarah Sanford.^[2][3]

Ebenezer first married Martha A. Bradley about 1720 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Colony of Connecticut. They had the following children^[2]:

3. Ebenezer Hull, Jr., 1732 – 1797
