Lore “Lura” Hunt was born 26 Nov 1738 in Lebanon Township, New London, Connecticut[1] and was baptized at the Goshen Congregational Church on 3 Dec 1738. Lore was the daughter of Jonathan Hunt and Ruth Cushman.
On 30 Oct 1760 in Hebron, CT she married Abner Jones[2], son of Daniel Jones and Hannah Stannard, born on 15 Jan 1729 in Hebron, CT and died on 27 May 1793 in Hebron, CT. He is buried in the Jones Street Cemetery, Hebron, CT.

Abner born 27 Aug1761 in Hebron, Tolland, Connecticut[3] and died in1776.
Oliver Jones born 13 Oct 1763 in Hebron, Tolland, Connecticut[4] and died 23 Oct 1835 in Hebron. On 13 Dec 1786, married Hannah Freeman. Hannah is on the pension list of 1836.
Lura Jones born 26 Jun 1768 in Hebron, Tolland, Connecticut[5] and died 18 May 1857 in New Lyme, Ashtabula, Ohio. On 10 Sept 1795 married Zopher Gee (1763 – 1829). This was his second marriage. They were early settlers in New Lyme, Ashtabula, Ohio.

Bathuel/Bethuel Jones born 15 Mar 1774 in Hebron, Tolland, Connecticut[7] and died 1 Nov 1856 in Jonestown, Wayne, PA. His first wife, Hannah Church, died in 1801 in Colchester, CT. His second wife was Lydia Rodgers. Bethuel and Lydia had six children.
1788: Mentioned in will of father Jonathan Hunt: I give to my loving wife all my moveable estate forever to dispose of as she pleaseth, and one half the lands to improve her life time with the building and then? the buildings and one half of the lands falls into my son Jonathan Hunts hands for a possession, and the rest of the lands to be divided between my two sons Luther & Jasper Hunt as follows Viz. I give to Luther Hunt two thirds of the remainder, and to Jasper Hunt one third part of the remainder. I also order my Executors to pay to my three daughters twenty shillings a piece as their portion in full, or to their heirs.
She died c. 1818 probably Hebron, CT.
