Ann Winslow was probably the daughter of William Houston and Elizabeth ?McCausland- See "The Houston Families of Falmouth" in The Maine Genealogist- Vol. 25 & 26 (Nov. 2003 & Feb. 2004). Her maiden name should be Houston and not McCausland. Ann's mother, Elizabeth McCausland Houston, was likely the eldest daughter of James McCausland, Sr. or perhaps a younger sister.

Yes, I have just made some changes and am continuing to work on this profile. I have found many conflicting theories and am still searching for sources for clarification. I added some info in the bio but didn't change the surname yet because I am trying to determine if the correct version should be Houston or Huston.
