Biography
Determining Grietie's parents is rather interesting. In 1580, Auke Janga of Ee rented 4 pondematen from the church for 1 princedaler. This seems a bit early for her father.
However, on Dec 28 1641 Sv..ier (maybe Syts?) Claese dochter the wife of Aucke Iacobs died. This would make the most sense as Grietie's parents since her son Hendrick Jaens was guardian of their son Jacob Auckes' children in 1665, dividing the inheritance from their mother and grandmother.
As alternative parents, in 1611 Aucke Johannes, town judge of Ee, bought a house close to the church. His wife Hiltje Tzigersdr (Siegers) died on March 28 1622, and a marker laid in the church. They are simply not as likely due to naming conventions.
