Biography

William Edward Johnson, the son of William Johnson and Ann Edwards, was born in 1851 at Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales. Birth record not found, date of birth from family records and place of birth from 1861 England and Wales Census. He was baptised on 8 October 1851 at Wrexham.[1]

He was recorded in the 1861 England and Wales Census, aged 9, in his parents' Gwersyllt, Denbighshire, Wales household.[2]

He married Elizabeth Jane Parry (date and place unknown). They were recorded in the 1881 England and Wales Census in their Hope (Flint), Cheshire, England household.[3]

The 1911 England and Wales Census recorded William Edward Johnson, age 59, married, head of a Wrexham Regis, Denbighshire household, occuption engineer and iron founder, his wife Lizzie Jane, age 56, and five children. [4]

William Edward Johnson died in 1919 at Wrexham.[5] [6]

He was buried at Wrexham Cemetery, Wrexham, Wrexham, Wales.[7]
