Biography
Trygve was born in Eidsberg, Norway to Andrew Johnson and Maren Arnesen in 1898. In 1905 he came to America with his mother and siblings to join his father, a bricklayer, in St. Paul, MN. Trygve's occupation was also a bricklayer. On September 17, 1920, he married Ella Haglund. They raised a daughter together. His nephew, Wes, remembers that Trygve loved oatmeal and used to eat it for breakfast both winter and summer. Trygve died in 1971 in Phoenix, AZ.
