I have removed Ebenezer Jones as child of Zachariah Jones. I always believed the story of Zachariah Jones the Baptist Preacher and Ebenezer, the "strapping 13 year old" who fought in the Revolutionary War, that is, until I started working on this record. Please take a look at the research cited here: http://heathcock.org/genealogy/wc01/wc01_156.html
It appears that we may be victims of "family story" based on newer research. Until we resolve this dilemma, I feel we should remove Ebenezer from Zachariah of Pecander Hundred.
I welcome the opportunity to discover the real father of Ebenezer Jones and grandfather of my ancestress, Jincey Owen Jones
