MRS. HARRY MEEHAN.
There passed away in the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Waratah, on March- 4th, Mrs. Harry Meehan, of Waratah, and formerly for many years of Belltrees, Scone.
The deceased lady, who was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jones, of Gundy, will be affectionately remembered by a large circle of friends in this district, for her kindly and gentle disposition endeared her to all with whom she came in contact.
The late Mrs. Meehan, who was sixty-two years of age, leaves a grown up family of three sons and three daughters, namely, Frank, Hamilton, Thomas and Daniel, Waratah, Mrs. A. Durham, Charlestown, Mrs. N. Pember, Mayfield, and Mrs. A. Morgan, Waratah. She is also survived by two, brothers, Phillip and Harry Jones, of Scone.
The funeral, which took place on the 6th inst. at Sandgatc cemetery, was largely attended by relatives and friends. The Rev. Father Ford officiating. Pall bearers were: Messrs. Tom Moran, Harold Herbert, E. Hood, Les York, A. Delany and J. Murphy.
