Anthoine Jourdan was a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790).
Family members emigrated it to the Cape Colony.

- On 22 October 1685, at Cabrières d'Aigues, Luberon, following the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, Pierre Jourdan, Susanna Pascal, and their sons Pierre Jourdan de Cabriere and Anthoine Jourdan abjured their Protestant faith [1]
