Adam Keith Jr. was born on 8 Apr 1811 in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States, son of Adam Keith Sr (~1770–1849).

"Mr. Adam Keith, an old farmer residing in Greene Township, Indiana county, just over the Cambria county line, fell dead on last Monday evening, while engaged in feeding his hogs. His age was about 75 years. We did not learn the cause of his death, but presume it was heart disease or something of that nature."
