A wedding of interest to Bathurst, Orange and Forbes district residents, which took place at St. Mark's Church, Darling Point, on Wednesday, was that between Mr. John McPhillamy, of Mt. Tamar, Bathurst, and Miss Beatrice Kelly, the talented artist and eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Kelly, of Sydney. Only immediate relatives were invited. The bride, who was given away by her father, was a picturesque figure in her gown of white and gold brocaded lame. There were no bridesmaids, and Mr. Carleton Kelly, brother of the bride, attended the bridegroom as best man. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Arthur Rix. The cake was designed as a replica of Mount Tamar. The red tiled roof and even the corrugated iron verandah roof were carried out in colored icing. The bride and bridegroom left later for Queensland. After the honeymoon, which is being spent in Queensland, the newly weds will make their home at Mt. Tamar.
