Biography

James was born in 1840. He was the son of William Kenworthy and Asenath Patterson.

He married Lydia Ann Williams (1840-1917) in Sugar Creek, IA in 1860.[1][2] They were the parents of at least 8 children:

Anna Kenworthy
Alvin Kenworthy
Laura Kenworthy
Nellie Kenworthy
Walter James Kenworthy
Leon B. Kenworthy
Ezra Kenworthy
Evalyn Kenworthy

He passed away in 1911 and is buried in Huntsville Cemetery, Columbia County, Washington.

Notes

His mother is buried in Rush County, IN. It is possible he was born there rather than in Henry County IN, where his father remarried.
