Biography

Benjamin Kepner, son of Bernard Kepner Jr. and wife Maria Lindenmuth, was born about 1747,[1] probably in Philadelphia County, Province of Pennsylvania, where the Kepner family settled when they first came to the colonies. In 1752, the area where they lived became Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. This is where he grew to manhood.[2]

He married Mary Shoemaker in 1768.[1]

Research Notes

Find his marriage record, probably in Germantown or in Berks County, PA.

Check census records to identify him, then check for deed records and a will or probate.
