Notice

Daily Telegraph (Sydney, NSW : 1931 - 1954), Friday 14 October 1938. [3] Country Interest In Wedding Last Night A SEVERELY tailored gown of off white Bianchini cloche and silver lame was worn by Miss Nesta Kierath, of Narromine, for her wedding to Mr. Percy Marley Stirton, of Moree, at St. Philip's Church last night. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Kierath, of Bokhara, Narromine, and the bridegroom is the second son of the late Mr. P. E. Stirton and Mrs. Stirton, of Balarang, Moree. White flowers arranged in a topknot held the cut tulle veil covering the bride's gown, and she carried a loose armlet of white waterlilies. Frocks of watermelon pink organza, designed with flared pleated panels in the skirt, and halo hats of the same material, were worn by the three brides maids. They were Misses Monica Kierath, sister of the bride, Marrion Scott, of Narromine, and Nancy Stirton, sister of the bridegroom. They carried loose armlets of the palest pink roses to match their frocks. The Reception Mr. John Stirton, brother of the bride groom, was best man, and Messrs. Gregory Kierath, of Moree, and Bruce Abbott were groomsmen. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. G. S. Stewart. At the reception, held at Elizabeth Bay House, the guests were received by Mrs. Kierath, who wore a black metalasse frock run with a gold thread, and Mrs. Stirton, who chose a black lace gown. Keytah, Moree, will be the future home of the bridal couple, who will sail by the Mariposa today to spend their honeymoon in New Zealand.

She passed away on 23rd February 1989 at Sydney, New South Wales. [4]
