Herbert William Kierath was born on 14th August 1897 at Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. He was the son of William Kierath and Ada O'Neill.[1]
He married Rita Norman in 1936 at North Sydney, New South Wales.[2]
Herbert enlisted in the Australian Army Volunteer Defence Corps during the Second World War; enlisted ; discharged 18th May 1944 as a Lieutenant from the 25th Battalion.[3]
He passed away in 1967 at Narromine, New South Wales.[4]
