Mentioned in the 1586 Will of her grandfather, Richard Killingworth: "To the four eldest daughters of my son John Killingworth and to John Killingworth his son, £100 apiece at their ages of 20 years or marriage. The Portion of any who die under age to be shared among the survivors."

A descendant of Robert de Ros of Helmsley and Isabel of Scotland, widow of Robert de Brus, and illegitimate daughter of William 'The Lion', and his grandfather David 1st, Kings of the Scots, and of Patrick 5th Earl of Dunbar, and of Ellen, daughter of Alan of Galloway; and the Plantagenets.
