Eldest son. Old Parish Records baptism reads: "1571, Jul 11 KILLINGEWORTHE Giles son of John, gent". A passage in his father's Will states towards the end that his executor and residuary legatee is his eldest son, Giles Killingworth. But "if he dies before me, my [2nd] wife and my second son William Killingworth are to take his place."
Following his father's death he inherited several manors by a variety of tenures including Balsham Place Manor, Cambridgeshire, held of the Charterhouse Foundation as the superiors.[1] He also became Lord of West Hall manor in the parish of Mundford (anciently Montfort), north of Brandon, Norfolk of which he was still in possession at his death.[2].
He married twice.
