Two Benjamin Iveys entered into Parish Register for a Benjamin Ivey born May 24, one 1760 and one 1761. The Benjamin whom Sally Reese married appears to have moved from Virginia to Randolph County, North Carolina by 1790 as he is absent from Virginia 1790 tax list. Will proved in 1802 names wife Sally.
Grandson by this Benjamin is named John Reese. [1][2]
There is some evidence that this Benjamin married Sally Kincheon (as two children were given that name.) However, the will of John Reese specifically names his daughter Sally Ivy, wife of Benjn Ivy. The Last Name at Birth of Sally/Sarah Ivy should be 'Reese'.
