Research Notes
The only information we have about Eliza is from the family chart shown here as a source. It makes sense that Hugh would have re-married after the death of his first wife, he would have needed help raising his 11 children. We're assuming that Eliza was about 23 when she married Hugh and that she died before Hugh married his third wife.
