Biography
James 'Jim' Monroe Kitchens was born in May 1851 in Georgia.[1] He married at least twice, first (or second) to Sarah Rebecca Nobles (1862–1904) c.1883 and three of their seven children reach adulthood:
- Dona Ruby Elizabeth Kitchens (1890–1945)
- Sarah Lee Kitchens (1894-aft.1900)
- David Henry Kitchens (1898–1917)
He married again to widow Lugenie (Arnold) Nobles (1880–1969) c.1906.[2] He died in 1910, after being enumerated on the federal census on April 28, at the age of 59, and was buried in Danville, Georgia next to Sarah.[3]
