Albary Knowles is the son of James Knowles and Amy Reed. He was born on 8 June 1814 in Indiana [1].

He went by Albary most of his life. He married Sarah Randolph "Sally" Smith on 17 Feb 1836 in Gibson County, Indiana, United States [2]. Albary and Sarah had eleven children.[3][4][5]
