Naomi Knox Leetch was one of the worthy women of olden times. In her youth she had been beautiful, and when old she was well favored and graceful in her manners. She came of one of the best revolutionary families. She was the aunt of President James Knox Polk. Naomi died in Moulton in 1854. Her daughter Maria married David Hunter. Her son, James Knox, died in Moulton. He was a young man of fine person and promise. Naomi Sophia, her youngest, married the Honorable Thomas M. Peters.[1]
