Biography
Jan (Kuelen, Petter; baptized 1751, married 1750 Jantje Hendriks Vos), Jan married Jantje Hendriks Vos on Dec 31 1750. Children: Niesje (married Albert Bartels Strampel, moved to Dedemsvaart).
Jan kept the last name of Collen. It seems there were 2 Jans in this family, one going by Collen and the other by Maat. Genealogies are very divided as to which one was the son of Jan Jans Kollen and Geesien Hendriks Petter. It turns out it was both!
Jan Henderijks Kuelen and Jantijn Henderijks Vos were baptized together in the Doopsgezinde Giethoorn Zuid on Jan 24 1751.
