Biography
Anna Maria was baptized in the Evangelical Reformed Church of Frederick, Maryland; the sponsors were Conrad and Anna Maria Kämpf, probably her grandparents. (No birth date is given on the record.)[1]
Anna Maria is presumed to have married Peter Adams around 1775. A record hasn't yet been found for the marriage, but there is indirect evidence:
In 1777, Peter and Maria Adam sponsor the baptism of Willhelm, son of Friederich and Sophia Kern.[2] Sophia is the sister of Anna Maria Kemp.
In 1778, Peter and Anna Maria Adam baptize a son Peter.[3]
A marriage license for Mary Adams and George Bare was issued on 28 January 1786 in Frederick County, Maryland.[4][5]
Frederick Kemp, in his 4 November 1800 will, leaves legacies to grandchildren Peter Adams, Rebecca (Adams) Staley, George Bare, and Peter Bare.[6]
Anna Maria probably died before 1800, as she isn't mentioned in her father's will.[6]
